How I Can Help You
Deciding to start therapy can be a challenging and vulnerable step; I strive to acknowledge this challenge while offering a warm, accepting environment, free of judgment and shame. Trust and safety are essential in order to feel comfortable opening up, and I do my best to meet you where you are while guiding you towards your therapy goals.
I work with people from all walks of life, using a person-centered and trauma-aware approach to improve their mental health and build coping skills. I am open to feedback and strive to make your experience as beneficial as possible, even if that means referring you to someone who may be better suited to helping you reach your goals.

I was born and raised in Fort Wayne, with a brief stop in North Manchester for my undergraduate experience. At Manchester University, I pursued a dual major in Social Work and English Writing. After graduation, I spent a few years working with at-risk families and youth as a home-based case facilitator.
Eventually, I decided to pursue my Masters of Social Work through IU at Fort Wayne. Following grad school, I gained about 4 more years of experience as a therapist in community mental health. Currently, I am working towards my full licensure as an LCSW and will be completing EMDR training this fall.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, baking, kayaking, crocheting, and embroidery. I especially enjoy spending time with my partner, our two children, and our pets (a cat and a dog). People often describe me as shy but genuine, and good at listening.
